DOGS TO BE DESTROYED 06/27/19

 

 

Beginning Sunday, January 27, 2019, the ACC will be changing the At-Risk List from 18 hours to 42 hours. This means that they will have an At-Risk List three days a week instead of six days and that once placed at risk, the animals will remain on the website and available for placement for 42 hours. The days and times for the At Risk List will be as follows:

Sunday 6:00PM through 12:00PM Tuesday

Tuesday 6:00PM through 12:00PM Thursday

Thursday 6:00PM through 12:00PM Saturday

Once an animal has confirmed placement, that animal will be removed from the At-Risk List and the status will be updated on our At-Risk Facebook Page.

  1. Only 6 dogs tonight!!! We CAN do this!!!
    On the list 8/2, TBD on 8/3: little sweetheart BENTLEY, beautiful girl BRISTOL, adorable mama GALEXIA, super pretty MONIQUE, precious NEVILLE and handsome fella SAMSON!
    We need to save these 6! Monique has already lost her owner and 3 of her 4 siblings! She’s a smiley beauty deserving of a lifetime of happiness! Sweet Neville has been on this multiple nights! She desperately needs a hero!
    Let’s get it going early and strong for these awesome pups! Praying and sharing with lots of love and hope! ????

    • Looks like both Bentley and Galexia are reserved! Praying hard and sharing everywhere for handsome Samson! This sweetheart needs a savior now, one that will not shove paper towels down his throat…my God! And Bristol, who is the total package! A little older but has tons of life to live and love to give! Please, please consider BRISTOL, MONIQUE, NEVILLE and SAMSON!!!! ??

  2. On an additional note, it seems Urgent is cleaning up the Super Urgent list. It’s down to 1 page of 50 dogs. Even better is the fact 31 of those 50 might be safe per info on other sites. Hopefully Urgent will get it all cleaned up soon! There is also one of the remaining 19 on there that unfortunately was killed in July.

    • So happy Urgent is working on the Super Urgent list!!! Down to 28 dogs (14 of which show Safe elsewhere and 1 who was actually killed). Let’s hope they keep up the good work today and only 13 dogs remain. Having this updated list really helps our community know their long, tiring efforts are worthwhile! Thanks Urgent for updating Super Urgent (Safe, Gone) lists.

    Handsome BRUIN – he’s already lost 3 siblings and other sister was saved. Delicious COOKIE CRISP – returned a couple days ago, now fighting for her life.

    • I am absolutely heartbroken over beautiful Kiara…. she was a complete sweetheart!!! Fun, friendly, loveable and smart. She deserved a loving home and a lifetime of happiness!!! NYCACC got her sick with pneumonia, put her in a small cage near the door where she see all the other dogs coming and going. Trapped and sick!!!! This is an injustice! I just hope when they ended her precious life, she knew people were trying to save her and loved her beautiful face. Run free fur angel Kiara!!!! You will never be forgotten baby. ????

    I can’t believe no one came for handsome BANE, stunning BILLY, beautiful CURIOUS, sweetheart MANCHITA and adorable MOLECULE today! 5 absolutely fantastic dogs!!!! Let’s share, share, share everywhere!
    And list newcomers, super good-looking CHEVY described as friendly, affectionate and playful along with precious, little girlie MAPLE! This nugget desperately needs a loving and kind touch!

  8. I feel so bad for this group of dogs..All but one are NH Only..The one that
    isn’t has skin issues..It’s coming towards the Labor Day Holiday when they will be close a few days, and with the no killing this past Saturday..ACC will be looking to cull these poor babies quickly to catch up..Pray for these pups..they will need them badly.

    • Looks like it’s 14 on the list tonight. Guess Clear the Shelters was not successful, now NYCACC are going to clear it their evil, disgusting, killing way. These poor babies…. when will it end? When will NY move into the 21st century and attempt a No-Kill format? It’s just heartbreaking to see these little faces and know these are their final days. We lost sweet MARY and handsome ALPHA today. Run free fur angels…..??

  9. It never changes no matter how many messages and phone calls they receive. But do not give up and I will never give up. What happened to super urgent page? They haven’t put incoming dogs on there in awhile. I guess we don’t get a heads up on them anymore? It keeps getting worse!

  10. Increasingly difficult to find outcomes today 21 Aug.).. And am very anxious to know if beautiful perfect greeter girl Abigail is safe from 18 Aug – listed along with Bruno, same date.? I cannot believe how strenuously everyone has to work to save any dogs at all – and how heartbreaking the losses for the volunteers even more so.

    • Susan there wasn’t a kill list on the 17th and 18th..I looked for those dogs names Abigale and Bruno and I couldn’t find them anywhere..I checked to see the names of the dogs murdered for August and their names aren’t there.

  11. Some of my comment was lost… Does anyone know what happened to Hickory please… listed 21/7. cannot find anything – seems like words and tears and dogs are lost in cyber space.. Please where is that good boy? Anyone know?

  13. There is a rally October 28th to change the shelter and their spay neuter kill policies. Judy Lustgarten is leading the fight. Join us that day and show your support.
