Out of all the firings and “resignations” happening at AC&C recently, one of the worst employees to ever be hired in the NYC shelter system has tenaciously held on to her job — Volunteer Coordinator Elisabeth Manwiller. For years she has harassed, threatened and botched her way to become the enemy of the hardworking, compassionate group of volunteers that she is supposed to represent. Urgent will
be releasing a special report soon about the many horrible failings of this woman whose sightings inside the actual shelters are tantamount to UFO encounters. For now, we will show you the fruits of her incompetency: Manwiller excretes a weekly volunteer “newsletter” known as State of the Pack, which she uses as a mouthpiece to scold volunteers or take credit for the work of AC&C rescue groups. This week brought something extra special. In her promotion of October as “Adopt-a-Dog Month”, Manwiller used a picture of a dog AC&C killed in January due to kennel cough. The dog was named Scooby — a 7 year-old German Shepherd mix surrendered by his owners, observed to be coughing, and swiftly killed for it at the Manhattan AC&C. Manwiller could have found Scooby in our 15th Gone But Never Forgotten Folder: http://on.fb.me/RNctTS.We stand with AC&C volunteers in demanding to know how much longer this woman will have to be endured.https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=352811674731718&set=a.341683172511235.92230.152876678058553&type=1&ref=nf
